Youth | Deputation | Future
“For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.” Psalm 48:14
We are so thankful that the God of the universe, the creator of the world is our guide even unto death. He is always with us, and He will never leave us. Melodie and I have seen this truth more and more in our lives over the past months. God has directed in our ministry and we are excited to share with you. Stay tuned until the end of the letter.
We had the privilege to do a youth event for the children of our home church during our church’s Family Bible Institute. We played games, memorized verses, sang songs and heard preaching from God’s Word. We were also able to be a part of a youth rally in New York City. There were games, food and several sessions of preaching. Melodie had the opportunity to speak to the ladies while I did a session with the guys and then all together.
We praise the Lord that even though it has been much slower, we have been able to continue deputation. We have been able to present at several churches in New England. At the beginning of October, we were at a missions conference at Landmark Baptist Church in Loudon, NH and are praising the Lord that they voted to join us in support as we get the gospel to the uttermost.
Big News:
From the beginning, the heartbeat of Project Everywhere has been to reach unreached people groups with the Gospel. To continue pursuing this goal, we have seen the Lord’s leading for Melodie to go back to school to become a nurse. She has recently started a LNA (licensed nurse assistant) program that will help her get hands on training as she works towards her RN.
Also in pursuit of getting the Gospel everywhere, we believe the next step in accomplishing this goal is to move to the Solomon Islands to work on Guadalcanal and the surrounding 350 plus islands planting churches and making disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are confident that this is the next step that God would have for us in order to reach unreached people groups.
Prayer requests
Pray that more churches will take us on for support.
Pray strength and stamina as Melodie pursues her RN.
Pray that all the details will come together as we work towards moving to the Solomon Islands.
Pray that God will continue to put the team together for our 2021 Scotland trip.
Pray for the healthy development of baby Douglas.
